DXF prices itself · anything else gets a same-day human quote
Upload it. Watch it price itself.
Drop in a DXF, pick a material, and the price updates live as you change quantity, volume discounts included. No DXF? Email any file or a sketch and a human quotes it the same business day.
Nothing is sent anywhere until you say so. Your file is read right here in the browser and priced in about a second.
Email the file and a human quotes it the same business day.
This is what we read out of your file. If the outline is not the part you meant to send, drop a different file; nothing is committed yet.
N/A
Each part has its own file, material, thickness and quantity. One setup fee and one shop minimum for the whole order.
No outline to draw
Per-part price at each run size. Repeat parts nest tighter, so the cost per piece falls as the quantity climbs.
Any number from 1 to 10,000. Discounts apply at 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 pieces.
This is shop time: how quickly we run your job once the material is in hand.
Instant estimate, confirmed by a machinist before anything is cut. Unusual geometry, etching, or add-on welding and machining get a fast human quote instead.
Card or bank transfer at checkout. We authorize your card now and only charge it once a machinist has looked at your file; if we can't cut it, the hold is released and nothing posts.
Paying by bank transfer (ACH) saves real money on a job this size. Card processing on this order runs about —; ACH is capped at $5.00. Both are on the checkout page.
Email any file, DWG, STEP, a vector PDF, or a dimensioned sketch on paper, to quotes@nashvillelasercutting.com and a human quotes it the same business day. Files in by 12:00 PM are quoted by end of business, Monday through Friday. That's the deal.
File in by noon.
Quote by end of day.
No project managers, no two-week quoting queue. One shop, one machine with open capacity, and a straight answer the same day you ask.

Parts in 2–3 days
Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days after approval. Need it faster? Next-day and same-day are right there in the quote. Pick up at the shop in Fairview or arrange local delivery.
What the machine can do
A 6 kW fiber laser on a full 5' × 10' bed, big enough for full sheets, fast enough that your job doesn't wait behind someone's month-long fab project. We stock material, so cutting starts when you approve, not when steel shows up.
| Material | Max thickness | Common stock |
|---|---|---|
| Mild steel (A36 / HRPO) | 3/4 IN | 16 GA – 3/4 IN |
| Stainless (304 / 316) | 1/2 IN | 16 GA – 1/4 IN |
| Aluminum (5052 / 6061) | 1/2 IN | 1/8 – 1/4 IN |
| Brass & copper | 1/4 IN | Cut to order |
Sheet capacity 60" × 120" · typical cut tolerance ±0.005" · part marking and etched layout lines available in the same pass. Don't see your material or thickness? Ask; the answer is usually yes.
Cut. Machined. Welded. Finished.
Laser cutting
Clean fiber-laser edges with tight nesting to keep material cost down. Holes, slots, etch marks, and part numbers cut in one pass.
TIG & MIG welding
Tacked frames, welded assemblies, and hardware installs. Your order can leave as a finished weldment, not a box of loose blanks.
CNC machining
Tapped holes, counterbores, milled slots, and turned parts, machined features added to your laser-cut blanks without a second vendor.
Deburr & finish
Edges deburred and faces cleaned, so parts arrive ready to coat, weld, or bolt straight in.
We don't run a press brake in-house, but we work with trusted local forming partners and can quote the whole job as one order.

Straight answers
What file types work best?
DXF prices instantly right on this page. DWG, STEP, and clean vector PDFs are welcome by email and quoted the same business day. Only have a dimensioned sketch or a photo with measurements? Send it; we'll draw the cut file for a small design fee.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes; a $75 shop minimum covers setup on small jobs. Above that, you pay for material and machine time, nothing padded.
When do you actually charge my card?
Not at checkout. We authorize the amount, which places a hold but posts no charge. A machinist reviews your DXF, and only then do we capture the payment and put the job on the machine. If we can't cut the file, we cancel the authorization: no charge, no refund wait, no processing fee.
Can I pay by bank transfer or a PO?
Bank transfer (ACH) is right there at checkout alongside card, and on larger jobs it saves you real money: card processing scales with the total, ACH is capped at $5.00. For a purchasing department that needs a PO, email the shop and we'll invoice.
Do you supply the material?
Yes. We stock common gauges of mild steel, stainless, and aluminum, which is a big part of why turnaround stays at 2–3 days; your job is never waiting on a steel delivery.
What tolerances do you hold?
±0.005" is typical on cut features. If your part has a critical dimension, flag it in the notes and we'll confirm before cutting.
Can you add machined features?
Yes, machining is in-house. Tapped holes, counterbores, milled slots, and turned details can be added to laser-cut blanks, so one order leaves as a finished part. Note it at checkout and we'll price the add-on.
Can you bend or form parts?
Not in-house; we cut, weld, and finish. For formed parts we work with trusted local press-brake partners and can quote the complete job as one order.
